TB Chawton Global Equity Income Fund delivers capital appreciation with income stream

Chawton Global Investors co-founder and portfolio manager Michael Crawford takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the TB Chawton Global Equity Income Fund.
Crawford explains the fund aims to deliver capital appreciation while providing investors with an income stream by targeting companies with a durable high return on invested capital and asset-light models that generate strong free cash flow. It primarily invests in developed markets, with significant weightings in Europe and the US.
The fund's performance since inception four years ago sits in the top quartile relative to its benchmark.
While Crawford expects short-term market difficulties to persist in the current high interest rate environment, he remains optimistic about medium to long-term opportunities, particularly in the transition to net-zero and infrastructure investments.
